Florida Freedom: Five for Five in Duluth Thriller!

Florida Freedom: Five for Five in Duluth Thriller!

Redemption. Domination. Five for five. The Florida Freedom strode into Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia for day two – the final day – of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Teams Series’ neutral site event with one burning desire: to erase yesterday’s defeat and unleash an undeniable performance. They didn’t just win; they delivered an absolute clinic, converting every single one of their outs and proving their mettle against the Nashville Stampede on the biggest stage.

Florida Freedom’s incredible run began with Thiago “Baby T” Salgado setting the pace. From the moment he nodded, Velvet Revolver erupted, bucking left into Baby T’s hand. Salgado stayed locked in through every unpredictable spin, expertly countering each move. The 8-second whistle cemented an 87-point ride, but it was Baby T’s iconic backflip that truly punctuated his opening statement.

Jaoa Lucas Campos kept the momentum rolling for Florida, squaring off against Mike’s Motive – a bull that had bucked him off before. This time, Campos wouldn’t be denied. Mike’s Motive exploded out of the chute to the right with big jumps, but Campos rode flawlessly, matching every move. The 8-second whistle solidified an 87.5-point ride, and Campos celebrated in style, climbing the fence to acknowledge the crowd. Two rides, two big scores for the Freedom!

The Florida Freedom’s relentless scoring continued with Joao Ricardo Vieira on Workin’ Man. The bull charged out, settling into a fierce left-spin, but Vieira – known for his “million-dollar smile” – was unshakeable. He stayed stuck like glue through every move, completing his incredible 463rd qualified ride on the PBR premier series. The judges deemed it a truly spectacular performance, bestowing 88.25-point ride and securing yet another crucial score for the Freedom!

Alex Cerqueira continued the Florida Freedom’s scoring onslaught, riding Hey Jack. While Hey Jack started well out of the chutes, he then stalled in the middle. Cerqueira, however stayed focused and locked in, expertly navigating the unexpected pause to complete the crucial 8-second ride. It might have been the flashiest trip of the event, but it was another vital score, clinching the fourth qualified ride for the dominant Florida Freedom.

The final piece of Freedom’s perfect game, John Crimber, was paired with Sweet Action. The flock’s hype man nodded for the gate to open, and Sweet Action bucked hard to the right. But, Crimber had an answer for each spin and jump the bull threw his way. After the 8-second whistle confirmed Freedom’s first franchise perfect game, John took to the shark cage in the middle of the arena to celebrate the 87.25-point ride. It was the perfect cherry on top of the Freedom’s unforgettable performane, closing out their game in style. Watch the Crimber’s thrilling finish here.

Congrats to coach Paulo Crimber and the entire Florida Freedom flock! The team leaves Duluth, Georgia, moving up two spots in the PBR Camping World Teams Series Standings to 4th place with an impressive 3-2 record. And John Crimber has indeed started his climb up the MVP standings, vaulting from 22nd to 7th, right behind teammate Joao Lucas Campos.
