PBR World Finals 2025: Tightest Title Race Ever Hits Cowtown!

PBR World Finals 2025: Tightest Title Race Ever Hits Cowtown!

Forty-five of the world’s best bull riders are ready to storm Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, on Thursday night to kick off a World Title race so tight it’s anyone’s to claim.

Dalton “Mr. 90-points” Kasel is currently holding on to a 126-point lead over Brady Fielder in World No. 2, but with 1,240 points up for grabs across the event, the top ten could shake up the standings. No cliches here—it’s the real deal.

Dalton has been on quite the tear, winning six events. He has not looked back since passing Fielder in the standings and has not yet taken his foot off the gas.

Of course, Brady is no slouch, winning two events, but he has remained close to Dalton with consistent top finishes leading into the World Finals, placing third in Tacoma and second in Louisville. He’s kept Kasel on his toes.

Don’t sleep on World No. 3 John Crimber, the teenage phenom who claimed PBR Camping World Teams Series and Championship MVP honors. He held World No. 1 for nine weeks before injuries set him back. Now, he’s fresh off an 88.75-point ride on Damaged Goods at the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals in Corpus Christi. Crimber is poised to make his charge at raising the coveted Jerome Robinson Cup on Championship Sunday, May 18, inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Other notable riders like Luciano de Castro, Keyshawn Whitehorse, or even the young rising star Clay Guilton could make a charge. Or even the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour event Champion Paulo Eduardoo Rossetto could harness that momentum into a great showing at World Finals. These riders can all play spoiler, as always, one rider surprises everyone with an outstanding performance over the two weekends.

All it takes is for one of these riders to get hot during these rounds and take advantage of all the points available across the event. It could be Dalton or Clay, who got hot and surprised everyone after his trade to the Carolina Cowboys from the Oklahoma Wildcatters. If Clay gets red hot, he may be one to watch.

Or we could see the resurgence of John Crimber and a return to how he was riding when he was the World No. 1 earlier this season. The only way to find out is to catch all of the action of what is sure to be an electric and must-watch action of the World Finals.

One thing is for sure: You won’t want to miss any of the action of the PBR World Finals, which starts Thursday, May 8, at 7:45 PM ET on PBR+, RidePass, X Live, Cowboy Channel, PBR YouTube channel, and Facebook. The coverage begins at the same time on Friday and Saturday, but on Sunday, it starts at 1:45 PM ET, and it promises to keep you on the edge of your seat!
